Warm Climate Vegetable Plants

For the 2021 season these 6 plant mixes will come in larger P9 re-useable pots in Bio degradeable packaging

Delivering to the Island of Ireland only

6 cell seed propagation tray filled with our carefully grown, 8 week old vegetable plug plants (seedlings). You can fill the tray yourself, using the above plant picker tool, and choose the exact plants you want for your vegetable garden. These can be ordered at any time during the season; at the beginning for a 4 week head start, or during the season as a replacement for less healthy plants. This is a selection of warmer climate vegetable plants including tomatoes, cucumber, courgettes, peppers, pumpkin and squash. You can choose any combination of 6 seedlings or even 6 of the same type to ensure greater success.

We sow vegetable seeds from our Iona range and carefully grow them in our polytunnels, once they are healthy young seedlings we dispatch them. When sown in April or May, Vegetable seeds take about 4 weeks to become healthy vegetable seedlings. If you plant some of our 4 week old vegetable plants at the same time of year then you are a month ahead which is important with our short, wet summers. These plants are to be grown under cover in garden cloches, with poly covers or in a polytunnel or greenhouse, just transfer them to a larger pot or container when they arrive.

Order now for late March/early April delivery
We send the vegetable plants out in modular trays from our plant nursery. You can order them anytime but these vegetable plants will only be dispatched from  April on when they are in season. We take care of all the hard work making sure they are ready for you to plant before we send them out.

How It Works
Create your own custom selection of vegetable plants. The 6 cell plant tray is a seedling propagation tray with 6 cells for plug plants. Using the above plant picker, you can fill the tray with 6 vegetable seedlings of your choice for your veg garden.  Simply click the 'Add To Tray' button beneath the vegetable you want to add and it will magically appear in the tray. Repeat this process until the tray is full. You can easily remove any of the plants from the tray by clicking the 'Clear' button on top of it and each plant can be easily moved around the tray by dragging and dropping to reposition.

If you'd like plant or growing information on any of your chosen vegetables just click on the info button that is on the vegetables icon.

Range of Vegetable Plants Available
The vegetable seedling plants available for the 6 cell plant tray may change throughout the year. As the plants from this selection are warmer climate crops, they are ideal for planting in the spring and will not be available late in the year.

Currently available in this vegetable seedling plant selection are the following: tomato - sungold, cucumber - passandra, courgette - defender, squash - butternut, sweet pepper - roberta, chilli pepper - jalapeno, tomato - shirley, pumpkin - racer, courgette - parador, tomato - rosada, and tomato - sweet aperitif.

The range will be changed throughout the season as some of these become unavailable.

N.B. This selection is for plants grown under cover and need a larger pot to grow in. For the full selection of seedling plants please see our '84 Cell choose your own plant tray'. Click for link

Excellent service, great healthy plants, strong and well packaged. I would love to see a wider variety and maybe summer bedding plug plants (Nobody's doing them in Ireland). I'll be buying from Quickcrop again. Love your YouTube Channel!!

Hi QC, I ordered from you last year and was impressed by the delivery and the quality of your plants. Will you be adding more to the range this year?

Most of the plants arrived in good condition but I was very disappointed with on of the tomato plants which looks like it needs intensive care. I only have a tiny greenhouse 1metre square And 2metres high so I only have space for 3 plants. This poor little specimen will struggle to do anything. I'd already rejected Lidl's tomato plants because they were sick looking and then I get one from you. Very dissapointing

Unfortunately you didn't have exactly what I ordered but the second choice Tomatoes were fine, so far.

Thanks the plants are in great condition and will plant them up this weekend, after I make repairs to greenhouse

All the plants arrived looking very healthy and happy. A great way to get a start when you haven't the time or room to grow everything from seed.

I find this product very handy as I haven't the space to propagate from seed yet. Not much not to like about this product. Just prepare your beds and plant the seedlings.

very happy with all plants that you sent me. they arrived in great condition. Unfortunately thier arrival coincided with a few hot days and the cucmber plant and peppers all perished in my tunnel. I think your business and customer service are excellent, I wil be back again for more plants. thankyou

Have just cut my first cucumber (Passandre) and it is absolutely delicious. Sad getting excited over a cucumber but this is the first ever that you couldn't sole your boots with or was too bitter to eat. This goes on the re-order for next year and cucumber sandwiches for tea!

Very vigorous plants, carefully packed. They were a bit yellow when they arrived but they got green and large after a few days. The courgette is producing delicious fruit outdoors and the tomatoes went into a mini polytunnel in my allotment. A pity that the peppers were out of stock. Aubergines would be nice too.
