Solent garlic is known for retaining its flavour particularly well when cooked and is very sought after in the restaurant industry. It produces tight dense bulbs covered in beautiful white papery skin. A gourmet garlic. The bulbs produce long, white easy to plait stems for a beautiful display in the kitchen.

Autumn planting recommended but will still crop very well planted up until the end of March. Will keep well for a long time, well into April and beyond.

You can buy Solent Garlic in sets of one, two or three bulbs. Please select the required amount using the 'No of Bulbs' Tab above the 'Add To Cart' Button.

Includes one top quality bulb which contains 8 - 14 cloves.

What really impressed me was that when the garlic arrived, I had a question about how to plant it, and Quickcrop got back to me within minutes of sending the email, which meant I was able to plant that day. Great customer service!

Received Solent Wight garlic bulbs from quickcrop.ie. Extra bonus that there was a planting guide included. The bulbs were in very good condition with no softness or rotting. They have been planted in a school garden and are heading skyward as we speak. Would definitely use quckcrop.ie again.

I tried 5 different types of Garlic last year and this was the best of them by a long shot. Really nice healthy Bulbs but more importantly they taste amazing. The only thing i would say is that the varieties i grew in the tunnel worked out a good bit better than the ones i grew outside.

Hi I planted these and a further range of garlic from yourselves last October. When should I be harvesting these plants? A couple of leaves are yellow but none “ fallen over”

Hi Cathal You won't be harvesting your garlic until late June. If the leaves a getting yellow they may need a feed with a balanced feed like blood, fish and bone. I include a link for your convenience: https://www.quickcrop.co.uk/product/vitax-blood-fish-bone-feed I hope this helps Andrew

I planted some of your garlic cloves in October and no sign of anything appearing yet. (Raised bed and good soil)

Hi Mary. Solent won't show its head for some time. I have planted 5 varieties myself and 2 of them are up but the others i wouldn't expect to see until closer to Christmas maybe even early January.
