You can still grow salad crops up to November. Some salad crops overwinter and give you one of the first fresh spring crops when things start growing again in spring. We carefully grow our plug plants to four weeks old in our nursery before sending them out.
Spinach and chard will be sweeter tasting in the Autumn and will also give you early spring greens. Winter purslane and corn salad provide a valuable source of vitamin c.
Please note all our crops are organically grown by us therefore contents of the pack may vary slightly from time to time due to crop failure.
