I tried these Orla potatoes last year for the first time and was very impressed with both the yield and the flavour. An added bonus is the fact that they are organic, and they seem to be pretty pest and disease resistant. What's not to like?

If these were to be planted in pots or grow bags roughly how many would be needed per kg?
Answered by Niall

Hi Jason There are roughly 10/12 tubes in a 1kg bag. Each of these tubers will give you a full plant that will produce between 15/20 potatoes. So lots. Niall Quickcrop

Hi Cynthia. Thats a good question. Yes is the answer. I take some of my Orla stock as earlies and then let the rest grow on and it works very well.

Thanks for your question Ellen. Orla are a very floury potato with a yellow flesh. One of my favourites to be honest and sells out very quickly.
