I am a primary school teacher, (3rd class, 23 pupils). I know all about the school garden on a budget, this was the perfect starter garden. We got 5 beds and still came in under budget!! We grew garlic, onions and salads in it and look forward to some potatoes before the end of the school year. Thanks alot Quickcrop!

I am thinking of buying some of these school bed kits to start a school vegetable garden. Do you offer a discount for multiple purchases? I was also wondering if they are easy to assemble and if they need to be placed on a completely flat surface.

Hi Vicki This bed is already discounted because it is in the schools section. You can put them on a slight slope and dig in to the ground so they are level Niall Quickcrop

How is the wood treated and expected life of the wood.

Hi David The wood is pressure treated so it will last longer in our climate. Typically the allotment type beds like this will comfortably last 6/7 years. The premier ranges will last 10/12 years Niall Quickcrop

Hi, I'm interested in using these bed's in a school garden. My question is, if I place a bed with one side against a railing, will we be able to access all of the bed from the three accessible sides?
Answered by Andrew

Hi Anna. You will of course be able to access from any of the sides. That is the reason we make this bed to these measurements. So that they can be accessed from any one side.
