Description
This is a tall shrub with glossy green leaves with huge harvests of purple/black berries. Exceptional nutritious values rich in antioxidants used for flavouring alcoholic drinks and making jams, juices and jellies. Chokeberry juice is becoming popular in health food shops (though more commonly called Aronia) because it is so high in anti oxidants. To make your own Aronia juice freeze the berries in bags before juicing, they will yield more juice and be less bitter.
