It provides instant frost protection and insulation from the cold for seeds, seedlings, fruit, vegetables and flowers. If the edges of the fleece blanket are secured properly it can also be a very effective, organic pest control fabric in the vegetable garden. Extra thick fleece is perfect for growing vegetables outdoors in colder weather.
