Hi I am looking for hoops and connectors etc to cover a 16 foot by 4 foot bed. I would like a 1 metre height. Could you list the parts that I need for this please

Hi Bernie. In order to achieve this you would need two of the full 8ft x 4ft kits to sit side by side. These are listed on the site. Niall Quickcrop

What length hoops would I require for a 1.5m wide bed and a 1.23m diameter circular bed? Thank you
Answered by Niall

Hi Simon Roughly 1.5m long tubing however it does depend a bit on what height you want up the centre. As a rough guess i would say 1.5m Niall Quickcrop

Hi Niall We have x2 1.2m by 1.2m square beds that we would like to create hoop arches for, with a central top support connecting the hoops for added strength. Is there a particular tube length/connector set up you’d recommend?
Answered by Niall

The tubing should be 1.2m long to give you roughly 2.5ft in the centre with a 4ft wide bed Niall Quickcrop

Hi Jason If you go to the Mini Polytunnel section on the website there is a picker button where you can order lengths of the piping on their own Niall Quickcrop

Hi, is the 25 mm diameter you state internal or external? I have plastic tubing with internal diameter of 25mm but I'm concerned its overall/outer diameter would not fit into the base supports. Also, have you got the "T" connectors in stock yet?
Answered by Andrew
on October 23rd, 2019
Hi Don. The external diameter is 25mm, the internal is 20.4. I am afraid we don't make 'T' connectors for the mini polytunnel kits, we use the 'X' connector at each end as well as in the middle. The 'X' connectors have a rounded lug so do not puncture the polythene or whatever cover you are using. I hope this helps. Andrew

thanks for your reply, still making my order list. a couple more questions, is the 25mm the same as hose pipe, if not what is the difference between hose pipe, and the water pipe? I believe you can cut pipe to longer lengths to give extra height? are the center connectors now in stock?)

Morning Julie The 25mm piping is the standard water pipe that you get in any hardware store but it is a lot stronger than hose pipe. Hose pipe won't stay ridged enough for the mini polytunnel to stand up. The centre connectors on their own won't be in stock for another few weeks. Around the 3rd week in April Regards Niall Quickcrop

Hi, I have raised beds of 5ft by 3foot (150 x100) do I need 3 hoops (tubing) you are still out of stock for the center tube connectors. So if I need 3 hoops, what do I connect with, will the figo bamboo connectors work? I live in the south of France, so what kind of cover would be good. Gets hot here, so thinking just animal/bird protection mesh. Thanks

Hi Julie We should have the connectors back in stock in the next 10 days. They are available in the kits. I would suggest 3 hoops are still required for a 5ft bed. The figo connectors won't really work for this purpose and yes the bird netting is probably the best cover for where you are in France Regards Niall Quickcrop

hi, it says to retain the height of a 4ft tunnel to use 1.5mtre of tubing for each hoop but you only sell it in 1.2mtre lengths, have i got that right?
Answered by Niall
on February 05th, 2018
Hi Jason. You are obviously looking at the Hoop beds. We supply the tubing primarily for the Mini Polytunnels which require 1.2m piping joined in the centre to give extra height. The piping can be used this way for the Hoop beds as well.

Guy Do you sell this tubing in longer lengths - say 2 meter lengths - want to order your Mini Poly tunnel parts - but need longer tubing for one continuous arch instead of having center joins ?

I am afraid not as we have an issue with transport of it in larger sections.

Hi, I have raised beds approx. 1m wide, what length of tubing would I need to span this distance. Thanks
Answered by Andrew
on April 11th, 2017
Hi Joy. The 120 wide tubing will give you a tunnel of approx 750 high with a width of 1m which is about right.
Asked By Karen Murray

The description for the tubing says it is in 120cm lengths but when ordering you ask for the number of metres required. I'd like to create a tunnel with a little more height - can you clarify whether the tubing is supplied as a continuous length or in 120cm segments please?
Answered by Andrew
on August 19th, 2016
Hi Karen. My apologies for the confusion, we will correct that. The tubing is supplied in 129cm lengths but we can cut to a longer length if required. We used to supply in a continuous length but our couriers wouldn't take it in a roll for some reason. Please feel free to contact the office on quickcrop@gmail.co and we can sort out the sizes you require.
