Tulip Ballerina is the brightest of our lily-flowering, fluted Tulips. The elegant, vivid orange flowers will flower from April-May on sturdy 55cm stems for a really eye-catching spring display. This standout beauty also boasts an wonderful sweet and peppery scent and attractive foliage. Plant in fertile, well-drained soil with as much sunlight as possible and enjoy from April-May.
We recommend planting with other fluted varieties for an exceptionally elegant display. You could also try planting two colours together, for example with a contrasting variety such as White Triumphator.
Planting Growing Instructions
Plant bulbs in well dug soil about 8-10cm deep and approx 15cm apart. It is often beneficial to use a little bonemeal or super phosphate mixed in with the soil. Tulips delight during their growth in a sunny location.
After the tulips have bloomed and when leaves fade and turn brown the bulbs can be lifted, dried, cleaned and stored in a cool place until planting time. Tulips should not be grown in the same soil for several years, so replace with fresh soil every other year.

Bulky Items €9.95 - Some large items (e.g. compost bins) carry a delivery charge of €9.95. Any items that carry the large item surcharge will be clearly marked on the product page.
Will there be any extra charges? There are no customs fees. Occasionally an additional delivery charge may be incurred when preorder items are ordered along with items for immediate delivery. Preorder items include bulbs, seed potatoes, garlic, onions, bare root stock etc.

How long does it take?
Stock permitting we aim to dispatch your goods within 2 working days of receiving your order. The average time taken from order to delivery is 2-3 days for Irish orders, 3-5 days for UK orders, and 8-10 working days for other European destinations.
What If I'm not in at time of delivery?
The driver will leave a note with the depot contact number. Delivery can be arranged for the next day or a later date.
I'm ordering several items, do they all arrive at the same time?
All items dispatched at the same time will normally be delivered in one delivery. The exceptions are bulk bags of soil or compost which comes in a separate delivery using a different delivery company. Seedlings will be dispatched directly from our tunnels.
What if my parcel is damaged or I wish to return the goods I have ordered?
Contact our office at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will arrange collection and refund or replacement of faulty or damaged goods.
If you wish to return goods for any reason other than damaged or faulty items please return the item to us at the following address and we will issue a refund minus the delivery charge. Goods must be undamaged and in their original packaging. Please take care when parceling returned goods to ensure it reaches us in good condition.
