Description
Westland Lawn Sand is a traditional moss treatment which not only kills moss but also feeds the grass. Each granule contains ferrous sulphate which kills moss and a nitrogen fertiliser which feeds the grass, promotes growth and encourages a deeper green colour.
The moss will blacken as it dies and can be removed by raking 7-14 days after application. Some of the surrounding grass may also blacken but this will grow out with continued mowing.
For heavy moss infestations you may have to repeat the treatment. Do not apply more than twice in one season and allow 40 days between the applications.
One 8kg bucket will treat 100 sq m.
Only for use on established lawns of 12 months or more.
This can be applied by hand or with a spreader. It is advisable to wear gloves when handling. If the product spills on clothing, paving etc. brush off immediately to avoid discolouration. Do not wash as this can lead to staining.
