This a beautiful form of cow parsley which carries very pretty clusters of creamy-white flowers on tall stems above wispy dark purple foliage. This plant is a short lived perennial but it will self seed freely and easily. To keep in control remove spent flower heads in Autumn to prevent the spread of seeds. Given it’s natural look and relation to common cow parsley ‘Ravenswing’ makes the perfect plant for a wildlife garden or meadow scheme and makes a beautiful companion to ornamental grasses for a free and natural prairie look.

May need support before clumps establish, especially in more exposed locations. An important Winter home for hibernating insects so avoid cutting back until March.

An excellent pollen and nectar source for bees and hoverflies with it’s umbels of easy to access flowers well suited to native bees and other insects. ‘Ravenswing’ also provides a winter habitat for hibernating solitary bees in it’s hollow stems so an important wildlife plant.
