This bat box is designed to provide ideal roosting spaces for these species. It mimics natural roosts such as tree cavities, which are often lost in modern environments. Bats such as the Daubenton’s bat, whiskered bat, and Natterer’s bat will benefit from the secure, closed system that the 2F box offers.
For "house bats" like the pipistrelle and brown long-eared bat, which are often found roosting in buildings, this box offers a perfect resting and roosting space on external walls, eaves, or trees.
