A classic cottage garden plant with large cup shaped flowers on tall and slender stems, ideal for the back of the border. Will grow in partial shade so does will in a mixed border or in a shady area. Earlier flowering than other campanulas and makes an excellent early cut flower.

Deadhead regularly to encourage repeat blooms, protect foliage tender foliage from slugs. Flowers are tall so will benefit from staking with bamboo canes or brushwood to prevent falling over. Mulch around the base of the plant with well rotted compost in spring.
