The Magic Fountains series of delphinium are smaller, more compact varieties with dense flower spikes of blue and purple. This dark blue variety adds a rich shot of colour to the garden from June to July. The upright blooms with their sharp, vertical shapes also create a strong contrast to more billowy shapes of grasses or other softer planting.

Flowers - Achillea, Geranium, Campanula, and Aconitum.

Plant in an open spot away from taller plants for best results. Young foliage is prone to frost damage. Cutting back spent flower stems to a flowering side shoot will encourage repeat flowering. Cut back and compost faded flower stems in Autumn.
