Description
Large semi-double flowers of a beautiful beige-orange coral colour when they first open. In full sun, they change to a paler, soft yellow. Once established, Canary Brilliants produces large numbers of flowers (more than most Itoh-hybrids) which are well suited for cut flowers due to their long stems, superb scent and long vase life. If you prefer their characteristic coral colour, cut for your vase and keep indoors out of full sun, this will slow or prevent the transition to pale yellow.
The plants are tall at 1 - 1.2m with a wide spread of 1.3 - 1.5m making them a substantial part of any garden. Flowering time is early, from May to June.
