Description
'Brisbane' one of the best fringed double tulips with soft apricot centres surrounded by iced orange sorbet frayed edges - it is a striking contrast. This variety looks stunning in the late spring sunshine on it's compact, sturdy stems that are a match for the worst spring weather. For this reason it is particularly well suited to pots which can take a thrashing in heavy rain with no surrounding shelter.
'Brisbane' is planted from September to December and flowers in April and May. Plant 15cm deep with 60 bulbs per square metre. Height is 30 - 50cm.
