Description
Long Handled Billhook
The billhook is a traditional large grass slasher and general cutting tool. It is used widely in agriculture for clearing 'wilder' areas of brambles, thick knotted grass and smaller woody material like shrubs and branches. A Billhook's use has often been described as lying somewhere between an axe and a knife and makes short work of saplings, small branches, hedging, and stripping branches or logs of twigs.
The blade on this bill hook is attached to a long, nicely finished wooden handle for ease of use.
