Description
Crassula ovata or ‘Gollum/Hobbit Jade’ is a superb indoor plant as it tolerates low light conditions. When grown in low light the plants will stay small with woody ‘bonzai’ style branches; with higher light levels Hobbit Jade will grow into a larger plant with a more pronounced red tip to the leaves.
Plants should be grown in a gritty, well drained soil mix. Periodic heavy watering is best when the soil has completely dried out, remember this a desert plant that is used to drought / deluge conditions.
