New Horizon Organic Vegetable Compost is the best peat free compost available. Winner of the GIMA Award 2019 (Garden Industry Manufacturing Award).
New Horizon Organic Vegetable Growing Compost is made from renewable resources and makes a fine consistency compost without any large particles. It is perfect for seed sowing, potting on or growing vegetables in containers. Nutrients will last for 4 - 6 weeks after which time we recommend feeding with a seaweed/poultry manure pellet or liquid organic fertilizer.
This new formulation contains the unique BIO3 growing substrate, a high performance growing medium free from any mineral fertilizers or lime-based additives.
When growing vegetables in small areas we suggest you use a container of a minimum of 30 cm deep to hold enough compost to sustain your plants and keep watering to a manageable level.
