RHS 'Perfect for Pollinators' Russian sage is popular with all sorts of pollinators, including bees, butterflies, and hoverflies. It is low maintenance and will grow in poor soils so ideal for marginal areas in your garden.
Russian sage has clusters of lavender blue spires flowers on silver aromatic foliage. Drought tolerant. Cut back in late winter early spring and allow new foliage to emerge.
