Description
An unusual red-purple variety, producing high yields of firm sprouts with an exceptional nutty flavour.
The distinctive purple colour is brought about by compounds called anthocyanins, which are said to have numerous protective health effects.
While this a relatively slow grower, you will be rewarded with a long-lasting harvest. It is also a hardy crop that can taste even better after a frost.
Sprouts are best harvested when they are about 1 inch in diameter.
Redarling F1 is a medium height variety and may need staking in exposed gardens.
