Description
This 42 plant mix includes both Callistephus and Xeranthemum annual flowers with a mix of colours from magenta through to soft pinks and whites. Both species are relatively tall stemmed at 60-75cm so make excellent cut flowers with an informal, cottage style.
Our Callistephus 'roses mix' includes a range of dusky pinks and whites which last for ever in the vase and hold out in the garden right throgh until the end of October. With their attractive puff ball shape, they are one of the most spectacular annuals you can grow specifically for cut flowers.
Plant callistephus 30cm apart in good, well drained soil.
Xeranthemum or 'annual everlasting' is a relatively tall plant that produces 15 to 20 branching stems loaded with flowers. Our mix included magenta and white varieties which will last 10-14 days in the vase or can be hung upside-down in a warm dark place to dry, after which, they will last forever.
Plant xeranthemum 30cm apart in good, well drained soil.
