A colourful, easy to grow wildflower mix that creates a 'cottage garden' effect.
With a mixture of medium height and tall wildflowers, this mixture works really well planted against a wall, creating a vibrant herbaceous border. You can also create an 'island' of wildflowers in your garden.
Aside from adding colour and character to your garden or outdoor space, the Cottage Garden wildflower mix will attract butterflies and other pollinators in abundance.

Bluebell, Centaury, Cowslip, Devil's Bit Scabious, Field Scabious, Foxglove, Hedge Garlic Mustard, Kidney Vetch, Lady's Bedstraw, Greater and Lesser Knapweed, Marjoram, Meadowsweet, Mullein, Ox-eye Daisy, Purple Loosestrife, Ragged Robin, Red Campion, Sea Mayweed, St Johnswort, White Campion, Yarrow, Yellow Agrimony, Salad Burnet, White Bedstraw, Wild Carrot.
pH range: Suits all dry soils, bar very moist or wet.
Aspect: Sunny to light shade.

Height Range: 30cm - 180cm
Flowering Period: May to September.
Fertility Range: Will grow on any soil, the less fertile the soil, the less cutting will be required.

Maintenance:
- One cut a year is sufficient, but additional deadheading can encourage further flowering.
- Occasional thinning will be required and where favourite species are identified these can be transplanted or you can save the seed.

Seed Sowing Rates:
Pure wildflowers - no grass no annuals: 1 to 1.5 grams per metre.
Added annuals: 1 to 2 grams per metre.
Added grass seed: 1 to 5 grams per metre (depending).

A nurse crop is not required
