Garden Compost Ingredients:
45% Green Waste Compost
Produced from general garden waste this compost adds vital organic matter improving aeration, drainage and moisture retention. Puts the life in 'soil life'.
45% Mushroom Compost
Premium compost mix made from composted straw, gypsum, organic material and chicken manure. Improves soil nutrients and maintains a balanced pH.
10% Manure
Natural solution to add nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium safely to a soil. This promotes strong vigorous plant growth.
Delivery is Kerbside delivery. We don't guarantee the bag can be left within the boundary of your property. If we can't access your driveway the bag will be left at the closest point possible.
The soil is delivered in 10 x (40 litre) bags placed on a wooden pallet. The soil can only go as close to your site as the hand operated pallet truck allows. The truck is not equipped with a grab so bags cannot be lifted over walls or hedges.
While the delivery driver will do his best to get the bags as close as he can to your property he is unable to move the bags over kerbs, up an incline or on loose gravel surfaces. Remember the pallet is extremely heavy and once off the truck is moved by the effort of the driver alone.
Truck Sizes – It is important to note that our Delivery trucks can be quite large. If you are expecting them to be able to get through your gate the gate will need to be at least 3.5 metres wide
Your laneway would have to have overhead coverage of minimum 5metres with no overhanging trees or cables. The trucks are 18 tonne Rigid trucks that are 12m long, 2.5m wide and 4.1m high.
