The Hera Greenhouse is an attractive hexagonal structure that can do double duty, whether you're growing or propagating plants or using it as a garden sunroom. It comes with a rust-resistant powder coated black frame, with full-length 3mm toughened glass side panes.
With an eaves height of 1.82m (or 6 feet), the Hera 9000 is suitable for tall gardeners and tall climbing plants alike, and provides 9 square metres of gardening or leisure space. 6mm polycarbonate roof panels help to retain heat within the greenhouse.
Three side vents open outwards for ventilation, while double sliding doors provide smooth and easy access. The roof and corners are bolstered with extra bracing.
The structure features integrated gutters for rainwater collection. You also have the option of adding a steel base for extra height (60mm) and rigidity. This base can be purchased from our greenhouse section and also comes in a powder coated black finish.

Does the Hera 9000 greenhouse need a base?
Yes, we recommend using a base for this greenhouse because the sliding door runner needs to be slightly raised off the ground. We supply a base kit for the Hera range which you can find here. A DIY base can also be constructed using pressure treated timber battens, railway sleepers or masonry.
Assembly Service
We provide an assembly service if required. Our Vitavia greenhouse expert will deliver and assemble your new greenhouse in a suitable location in your garden. Please be aware that we can only assemble a greenhouse where a base kit is also purchased. Assembly prices may vary depending on the site (see table below). Hard Surface assumes the site is prepared and ready for construction, while On Soil applies to sites that require preparation or modification by our assembler before building your greenhouse. Lead time
Please be aware that there is currently an 8 week lead time on all glasshouses due to high demand. This will be the same for any Vitavia greenhouse supplier in Ireland.
