Description
'Red Devon' has a vibrant orange-red cup surrounded by light yellow petals that fade naturally. The flowers can grow to roughly 4 inches across. The variety is easy to grow and comes back year after year, with flowers appearing from March until April.
Sturdy upright stems make the flowers suitable for more exposed garden areas, but they are also suitable for pots, containers, borders or for underplanting shrubs, roses etc. Red Devon also makes for excellent cut flowers.
They should be deadheaded once faded, but otherwise leaving the foliage to fade naturally will feed the bulbs for the following year.
