Description
This elegant lily flowered tulip produces a rich royal purple flower with a delicate ivory centre. It holds its colour better than most darker coloured tulips. Opens during the day and slightly closes at night. It's medium-large blooms can measure up to 11cm when fully open.
If cutting for a floral display do so when the buds are coloured but not fully open.
Planting instructions:
- Plant before frost sets in (Oct-Nov).
- Space 10cm apart and plant at a depth of 15cm.
- For best colouring these need full sun in well drained fertile soil.
- Avoid overwatering and only water if conditions are very dry.
