Description
Our Perennial Flower Plant Packs are designed to allow the novice gardener to create a professional looking garden in an afternoon. The packs include an easy to follow plan and all the plants required to complete it. The planting scheme has been designed to provide interest throughout the planting season with a carefully selected mix of perennial flowers and grasses. This pack covers an area of approximately 1.8 x 1.2m. Plans can be multiplied to cover larger areas or mixed with other plans from our range.
The Late Summer Splash pack includes:
3 x Aster cordifolius Little Carlow
3 x Salvia nemorosa Cardonna
7 x Achillea Terracotta
7 x Stipa ponytails
4 x Verbascum Phoenic Violetta
Late Summer Splash Perennial Flower Pack
The Late Summer Splash collection begins flowering as early as May but is so called because of the vivid contrast of Achillea Terracotta and Aster Little carlow later in the year. The season begins in May with violet Verbascum which will continue flowering up to August. The tall violet spires make a pretty contrast with the softer colours and shape of Stipa ponytails.
June sees the appearance of darker purple Salvia memorosa at the back which is quickly joined by Achillea Terracotta in July and Aster Little carlow in August when they all bloom together. This is a fun plan with a wild look of different heights, colours and textures.
