Purple rain is a bit of a showstopper for the home grower! Purple fleshed and purple skinned they are a great source of anthocyanin, the same antioxidant found in blueberries. Especially suitable to make mash and chips. The taste, presentation and storage characteristics are very good - all in all a great choice!
