Grow your own Pink Champagne rhubarb with these ready to plant rhubarb crowns. Champagne rhubarb is an old variety that has long, thick, bright scarlet stems. They are very easy to grow successfully and have excellent flavour, perfect for jams, pies, and desserts.
Rhubarb grows best in a sunny spot in rich, moisture retentive soil. Allow at least 1m per plant and add plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost when planting. The best time to plant is November-December provided ground is not frozen.
