Description
Contado F1 are an easy to grow over wintering variety of onion set. They produce very high yields of globe shaped bulbs with great skin quality. Troy onions have excellent resistance to bolting and other diseases. If planted in the Autumn, these onions are very cold hardy, they can be picked over the winter months as scallions or left to mature.
Plant from October - March for a May-July harvest.
