Description
Setton is a Dutch onion and an improvement of the traditional 'Sturon' onion. It is developed for professional growers in Northern Europe, as well for industrial processing.
Setton is in the late segment. This means it is planted somewhere between February and April. Under the right circumstances, Setton can be stored all year round. It gives a large yield and produces very consistent, round onions.
Setton has strong skin, an average neck, a golden yellow colour and an excellent flavour. The shape of the onion is more uniform than the Sturon.
