Tummelberries
Bred by the Scottish Crop Research Institute who also developed the Tayberry, this fairly new variety of hybrid berry produces heavy crops of attractive, large, rounded fruit with a bright red colour and superb flavour. Tummelberries freeze well and hold their shape when thawed.
Vigorous in habit these start cropping a week or so after Tayberries and then continue right to the end of August.
