Plum Bare Root Fruit Trees
This is the most popular of all plums because it is self-fertile, a reliable heavy cropper and bears deliciously sweet fruit. What's not to like? The flesh is a yellow-green with excellent flavour, skin is yellow with a rose blush. Ideal for cooking, canning & preserves or best of all eaten fresh from the tree.
Victoria plums can be harvested as early as late August and prefer a well drained slightly acidic soil, if it is very acidic it will need to be limed. Choose the sunniest spot you can find preferably sheltered too.
