Description
Lead time
Please be aware that there is currently an 8 week lead time on all glasshouses due to high demand. This will be the same for any Vitavia greenhouse supplier in Ireland.
If you would like to speak to someone about a new greenhouse, please phone 01 5240884.
The Cassandra greenhouse is designed to sit on a single skin dwarf wall. In turn, the dwarf wall can add to the greenhouse's insulating abilities, absorbing heat during the day and later releasing it at night. This leads to a more consistent growing environment with less temperature fluctuations. There's one catch here: the wall doesn't come with the greenhouse, but that just leaves you with more choice as to its appearance and materials. The required height of the wall is 50cm.
The powder-coated black frame of the Cassandra features an elegant bar capping which secures the glass panes. The glass panes themselves are made from durable heat-treated toughened glass. The 3mm toughened glass is more resistant to impact damage, meaning the greenhouse is safer to have around kids and pets.
A low-level threshold allows for easy access for wheelchairs, wheelbarrows, plant trolleys and so on. The Cassandra greenhouse features four opening roof vents, as well as integrated gutters for rainwater harvesting. Roof and corner bracing add stability to the structure.

Assembly Service
We provide an assembly service if required. Our Vitavia greenhouse expert will deliver and assemble your new greenhouse in a suitable location in your garden.
We regret that our assembly service covers Rep. of Ireland only.
Toughened Glass
Toughened or safety glass is more costly than horticultural grade but is 10 times stronger and, when broken, shatters into very small pieces in the same manner as a car window. We would recommend that toughened glass is used in any exposed location and where safety is a concern.
