The Easy2grow System:
The Autopod Easy2grow kit uses 'Aquavalve' technology to provide a responsive and supremely efficient irrigation system. Each individual plant controls their own irrigation, receiving fresh and nutrient-rich water when they need it. That means you can take a holiday and rest assured that your plants will receive what they need.
The Easy2grow can be used to produce a wide range of crops. It is ideally suited to either short, bushy varieties (like herbs or strawberries)or tall-growing vine plants. Layouts for vine-growing are typically achieved by placing multiple kits end-on-end in a garden, greenhouse or poly-tunnel.
How It Works:
The 47 litre tank provides your supply of water. Gravity pressure pushes the water through a filter to the Aquavalve regulator.
The Aquavalve system opens to supply water to a 20mm depth in the tray, and then closes. Once the plants have used that supply, the Aquavalve reopens to repeat the cycle. No need to second guess plant requirements, compensate for conditions or recalibrate unnecessary pumps.
The Easy2grow system can operate without electricity, pumps, timers or mains water. It can be used with a wide range of growing substrates - either traditionally with soil or hydroponically.
For longevity, keep the Aquavalve and the tray it sits in clean and free of obstructions or debris.
