Description
In a way, the Cornfield Annuals Native Wildflower Mix replaces what's been lost. All the species in this mixture would have been seen as common weeds in corn fields before the advent of herbicides and pesticides.
This easy-to-grow mixture will produce a dazzling display of colour, encompassing the blues and purples of corn cockles and corn flowers, red-topped corn poppies and (yes, there's some yellow!) corn marigold. The hardy annuals will flower from June to September and are best sown in a well cultivated soil with direct sunlight.
The wildflowers included in this mixture are recommended by the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) as ‘Plants for Pollinators’.
