Description
Freshly grown herb plant, 8-10 weeks old. This perennial herb produces golden leaves and pink flowers that bloom in July until September. Arguably a more attractive plant than common oregano but with the same flavour.
Place in partial shade and keep soil moist. It may require more watering in the summer. Cut back old shoots at the start of Spring.
The mild peppery leaves are used in cooking for meat dishes and with tomato dishes. Commonly used in Mediterranean cuisine.
This plant comes in a P9 pot and is ready to plant out. P9 pots are 9cm in diameter and are commonly used by professional horticulturists.
It can also be purchased as part of our 'choose your own' herb products at a reduced price (see recommended products below).
