Description
A herb plant, freshly grown in our nursery (8-10 weeks old when shipped). This low-growing bushy perennial produces spicy green leaves. Pink flowers bloom from July to September. Ideal for edges of raised beds or in containers.
Place in full sun and keep watered. It doesn't like the cold and may die off in Winter, but should grow back in Spring.
A strong peppery flavour with some chilli heat. Used in Mexican cuisine, it can be used to replace chillies (especially if chilli is too hot for your palette). Also used in Mediterranean dishes and goes well with tomatoes.
This plant comes in a P9 pot and is ready to plant out. P9 pots are 9cm in diameter and are commonly used by professional horticulturists.
It can also be purchased as part of our 'choose your own' herb products at a reduced price (see recommended products below).
