Description
This parrot variety tulip produces ruffled, feather-like, pink and ivory petals. Growing up to 55cm tall, it is ideal for use in bouquets, flower beds or containers. Less common than Rococo or Estella Rijnveld parrot varieties. Provides a romantic feel. Late bloomer so prolongs the tulip season.
If cutting for a floral display do so when the buds are coloured but not fully open.
Planting instructions:
- Plant before frost sets in (Oct-Nov).
- Space 10cm apart and plant at a depth of 15cm.
- For best colouring these need full sun in well drained fertile soil.
- Avoid overwatering and only water if conditions are very dry.
