Description
Water Cress (Officinale) is a fast-growing, peppery, leafy green plant that comes from the mustard family. Grown fresh in our nursery, it is nurtured by us for 8-10 weeks before shipping.
Popular in salads and soups or used as a garnish. It produces small white flowers from June to early September.
Nutrient rich and contains vitamins A,C, E, iron and calcium.
Planting and plant care
- Thrives in running water or moist soil.
- Prefers partial shade.
- Trim leaves regularly to encourage growth.
- Suitable in a wildflower/meadow.
Comes ready to plant in a P9 pot. A P9 pot is a 9cm pot commonly used by professional horticulturists. Each herb is also sold separately.
