Hand Held For Berry Picking

This is a really handy tool, particularily good for currant bushes but also plenty of other berry bushes. You can pick fruit far quicker than you would by hand, it's also fun so you're much more likely to go out and beat the birds! It is near impossible to harvest berries by hand without damaging or bruising at least some of them. The berry picker eliminates this problem, making freshly picked berries and currants last much longer.

Suitable for: Currants, Blueberries, Bilberries, Blackberries, Elderberries, Sloes, Damsons and more.

Easily cleaned in the dishwasher and comes in both Small and Large sizes. You can select your preferable size by clicking on the size tab above.

Dimensions:

SMALL:  Dimensions 10cm wide by 5cm deep by 15cm long approx.

LARGE:  Dimensions 14cm wide by 8cm deep by 22cm long approx.

the best time to plant cutting branches of currant

Hi David. If you have cuttings that have rooted in pots you can plant them anytime of the year unless the ground is either too wet or frozen. If you are taking cuttings it is best to do so at the end of October, early November.

Looking at your berry pickers. I'm thinking the small would be better for black/red currant picking as it would get between the branches more easily, but the sizes listed don't specify don't say which is length/width/depth and therefore the small looks to be deeper than the large one. Please can you clarify and advise.
