I have a Goji Berry from Quickcrop in a large container. It have grown very strongly in the 10 months since being planted. I am hoping to be harvesting berries this year. I am with holding one star until I see how it produces.

Hi, I was wondering if these would be best planted in the greenhouse given the need for a warm position. Also will they fruit in the first year?

Hi Rebecca They will do better in the Greenhouse alright although surprisingly Goji Berries do produce outside as well. They will produce a small crop in year one but it is really year 2 before they get moving well Niall Quickcrop

Hi Lynda. Is your Goji berry bush outdoors or indoors? The bush should fruit after 3 years so am wondering about pollination. Sometimes bushes take longer to flower and fruit than others however so there may be no cause for concern.

Goji berries. Can the plant be grown outside, any special considerations? Size of mature plant? Is one enough, ie is it necessary to get male and female?

Goji berries are not difficult to grow and are hardy once established. The bush can end up at 3 meters tall if left unpruned but can also be grown as small shrubs in pots. Goji berries don't have a male and female plant, they all produce fruit. I hope this helps. Andrew
