What does bare root stock mean
Answered by Niall
on February 04th, 2019
HI Al Bare Root stock means it doesn't come in a pot with soil around the roots. We send the plants out as they are which is fine in the winter months as the plants are dormant. They need to go in the ground within a few days of receipt Regards Niall Quickcrop
Asked By Declan O Shea
on September 23rd, 2018
Must these vines be planted outside and trained into greenhouse or tunnel ?
Answered by Niall
on September 24th, 2018
Hi Declan It is best to do this alright as they require a lot of water and heat. Also the natural rain is way better for fruit than the water from the mains. Regards Niall Quickcrop

Asked By Barbara Harris
on August 17th, 2017
I just have my very first crop of Black Hamburg grapes - 4 bunches to be precise. They taste nice but the skins are very tough. Why is this please and can I do anything about it?
Answered by Andrew
on August 18th, 2017
Hi Barbara. With smaller Black Hamburg grapes the skin can be a bit tough alright. As the crop and the Vine mature over the years and the grapes produced are larger the skin on the grapes starts to get softer. I had a similar experience with them myself.

Important Delivery & Stock Information March 2021

Delivery Times

We will be operating our business as usual over the coming months as thankfully, current lockdown measures haven't required us to close our warehouses. Delivery times have been impacted over the year with the increase in online shopping putting immense strain on all couriers. We expect to have your order dispatched within 7-10 working days and delivery should be within 2-4 working days after this. This translates to 2 - 3 weeks for delivery and we are working very hard on reducing this time frame and will update here as soon as we can.

Out of Stock Products

Going through our site, you may notice many products are marked out of stock, this is only a temporary measure to enable our warehousing department to catch up with re-stocking and to train in new staff. We estimate a return to normalcy over the next two weeks so check back soon for your favourite products.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience which may have been caused due to Covid-19 and very much appreciate your patience during this time. Some of our customers had delays in receiving their orders in a timely manner but thankfully 99% of orders got through on schedule.

Contacting Us

Unless 15 working days (3 weeks) have elapsed since you placed your order please try to avoid contacting the office for delivery information as answering queries further slows packing. Of course if you have received a damaged item, are missing something or are over the 10 day lead time please feel free to email us at enquiry@quickcrop.ie and we will respond quickly, usually within the hour.
