Description
Still the benchmark for large butternuts, Waltham produces a straighter, thicker neck than most other varieties. A small seed cavity means more tasty flesh with a delicious nutty flavour. Very good storage potential. Can produce a yield of 3/4 fruits per plant. Good powdery mildew resistance keeps leaves productive thus improving sweetness.
