smaller than other chill hoes, great tho for more precise work quickly

Super useful, neat and precise due to the size of the head. Light to use, and versatile. Handle is smaller and shorter than the other tools, so good for raised beds or used kneeling or at close range. I use it to clear weeds, turn compost and cut/pull roots but I'm sure it will find many other uses over the next growing season.

I felt as though a large hoe wold be unsuitable for my raised beds so I was delighted to see a smaller hoe. This is perfect for my beds as its easy to manage with the two tines at the top suitable for arranging the soil and keeping it loose before planting my seedlings. Its perfect for weeding and its a well made product. A sturdy product that I'm sure will last for years to come

I love this little tool, very easy to use and a delight for my raised beds,what would have taken me a couple of days to do, on the beds in polly, done in an afternoon! and no backache. the short handle is perfect for the smaller person like myself, and found it can weed between my outside beds, no problem. If your just thinking about this tool like I was for a couple of months, go ahead and give it a try, have made such a difference in my gardening time

A very useful tool indeed for weeding and breaking up soil in smaller beds. The only downside for me is that as an over 6 foot 80 year old with a back problem, I would have appreciated a longer handle, hence the 4 star rating. I would be prepared to buy a longer handle if anyone can supply one. The longer handles associated with other larger Chillington Hoes are too great in diameter.

We have heavy clay soil so hoeing is hard work.This toolis excellent makes the job much easier and more accurate between cultivated plants.

I'm very happy with the double headed chillington hoe received recently. I have used it to break up grass sods placed in my new raises beds. I have a larger single sided one which is great for initial sod breaking. The smaller double header was great for working the top layer of soil to a finer tilth. I expect it will be very useful for this purpose from time to time as required. Very easy to use and delivers good results with less effort than if using a spade or garden fork for this purpose.
