Description
A stunning, decorative purple 'dinnerplate' dahlia with large, open mulberry coloured flowers. The opening buds are also particularly attractive when the young purple petals contrast with the yellow/green bracts.
These beautiful plants produce the largest flower of all dahlias with blooms up to 25cm wide. Stems grow up to 120cm high and will prefer a sheltered yet sunny position out of the wind.
'Thomas Edison' has a mid Summer flowering season from June to September.
