Envirogrind Soil Improving Compost Pallet
The pallet contains 40 x 50 litre sacks of envirogrind compost. NOT AVAILABLE OUTSIDE IRELAND
Envirogrind is the best form of compost we have found for the vegetable garden. Unlike other composts it contains a high percentage of composted fish waste (approx 25%) and the rest is well composted green waste, which by itself is a perfect garden compost. The combination of the two adds a whole host of amino acids, vitamins and macro and micro nutrients to soil that is important for healthy growth.
Envirogrind is also the perfect planter compost for containers, planters, and raised beds. A single bag added to one 6ft x 3ft or 6ft x 4ft raised bed will revitalize your soil and help ensure healthier plants from the start.
Envirogrind is more suitable as a soil improver and should be added to larger, more permanent beds as a mulch in the springtime or a soil improver and nutrient booster when filling the beds for the first time. If you are building a school vegetable garden using your own supply of topsoil, Envirogrind is highly recommended to mix in with the soil to improve soil structure and nutrient levels.
What's in it?
The percentages of composted materials are: Food 40% - Fish 20% - green 40%. It goes through a 14 week process in a closed Vessel composting facility. It naturally reaches a temperature of 70 degrees which kills off pathogens and weed seeds. Note: Envirogrind is a much darker compost than you would produce at home and from May to August it can be more grey in colour. This is due to the process that it goes through. Envirogrind will also have a stronger smell than most composts. However once spread on your garden this smell will disappear within 24 hours. This is a Super product and very safe in the garden. It just looks different to other composts.
Important Safety Information
While every effort is made to remove any foreign bodies from the soil & compost we supply we cannot guarantee it is completely free of small fragments of sharp objects. All our soil and compost must pass thorough a fine screening process down to a 20mm but small unwanted particles can escape this process.
While it is unusual to find small pieces of glass or ceramic with sharp edges this does happen from time to time. We strongly recommend using a good pair of gardening gloves when handling any topsoil or municipal compost and our mix is no exception.
Important delivery information, please read.
Delivery is Kerbside delivery. We don't guarantee the bag can be left within the boundary of your property. If we can't access your driveway the bag will be left at the closest point possible.
The soil is delivered in cubic metre bags placed on a wooden pallet. The soil can only go as close to your site as the hand operated pallet truck allows. The truck is not equipped with a grab so bags cannot be lifted over walls or hedges.
While the delivery driver will do his best to get the bag as close as he can to your property he is unable to move the bag over kerbs, up an incline or on loose gravel surfaces. Remember the bag is extremely heavy and once off the truck is moved by the effort of the driver alone.
Truck Sizes – It is important to note that our Delivery trucks can be quite large. If you are expecting them to be able to get through your gate the gate will need to be at least 3.5 metres wide
Your laneway would have to have overhead coverage of minimum 5metres with no overhanging trees or cables. The trucks are 18 tonne Rigid trucks that are 12m long, 2.5m wide and 4.1m high.

IMPORTANT: If you refuse delivery because of an access issue to your property which we have not been made aware of beforehand, your order will be refunded less a €55.00 collection charge per bulk bag. Please read the above delivery info carefully to avoid any misunderstanding.
