The gro grid weed control planting mat is the solution organic gardeners have been waiting for. The gro grid semipermeable weed control fabric that includes heat sealed planting holes at regular spacings. The mates are available with different spacings to suit a broad range of crops.
Space between plants: 18cm.
Space between rows: 30cm.
Small Gro Grid Mat: 1.5m x 2m. Will fit 42 Plants
Medium Gro Grid Mat: 1.5m x 4m. Will fit 84 plants
Large Gro Grid Mat: 1.5m x 16m. Will fit 336 plants
Suitable for: Spring Cabbage, Garlic, Calabrese, Celeriac, Celery, Endive, Florence Fennel, Kohl Rabi, Chard, Perpetual Spinach, Swede.
Use:
The Gro Grid is simply placed onto a prepared seed bed and pinned into the ground using ground cover staples. Staples have huge anchoring power as it is essential that the Gro Grid mat is pinned securely as movement will hinder growth.
Gro Grid is a durable product and can be used several times throughout each growing season. Once crops are harvested the Gro Grid can be folded away until next year and will last up to 5 seasons.
Each mat comes with the required ground staples however in windy spots it is adviseable to use extra to secure the mat to the ground.
