Timber Raised beds are ideal if your outdoor soil is difficult to work with. They add an attractive, neat aesthetic to any garden, polytunnel or allotment. A row of raised beds in the garden or polytunnel will have you looking like a professional garden influencer!
Our Premier range of raised beds feature thicker 33.5 mm timber (compared to the 22 mm thick Allotment range) for extra strength and a longer life.
The 35 cm Premier Raised Bed is ideal for growing:
- a wide range of herbs and salads
- climbing plants like peas and beans
- deeper rooted crops like parsnips, carrots or potatoes.

Pressure Treated Timber for Longer Life
All our beds are made from timber cut and treated to our specification in our our local sawmills. The preservative used is certified by the soil association as safe for use with organic food crops.
We treat all our timber after it has been cut to size: this means that every part of the raised bed will be treated properly and it will last longer as a result. A lot of other raised bed manufacturers treat their timber and then cut to size, meaning the ends will remain untreated and will tend to rot much earlier.
The Premier range of raised beds should last at least 10 good years.
Note:
All of our 360 cm beds come as two 180 cm sections; they can be set up as two beds and linked together, or as one long bed with a linking board across the centre.
Also our 240 cm beds come as 2 x 120 cm beds for linking together or as one long bed with a board across the centre.
